Children in Need

On Wednesday 13th November, we were visited by Pudsey bear.  Pudsey came into assembly to help the children to learn about Children in Need.  After assembly, he posed for photographs with our House Captains who ran our Children in Need events on Friday 15th November.  During the morning, he visited each class in school whereby he posed for class pictures, flossed and dabbed! The children and staff in school were extremely excited about seeing Pudsey and it was wonderful to have him visit the school.

On Friday 15th November, the children dressed in bright colours, spots and Pudsey/Blush clothing – they all looked fantastic! During the morning, the house captains collected our £1 donations.  In addition, they ran a Pudsey colouring competition and Children in Need prizes were presented.  The money is currently being counted and we will let you know the total in the coming days.

Many thanks for your support

The Accord Multi Academy Trust is an educational charity established in September 2016 that is currently made up of four academies who were the founding members of the Trust. In September 2016 Horbury Academy and Ossett Academy & Sixth Form College came together, moving away from their stand-alone Trust status and were joined in December 2016 by Horbury Primary Academy and Middlestown Primary Academy.

The overarching vision for the Trust is to work in one ‘Accord – celebrating the differences of each academy through strong collaboration in order to inspire all members of our learning community to be the best that they can be.
