Christmas time
15/12/2019
It has been an extremely busy few weeks at Horbury Primary Academy. All classes have been involved in Christmas festivities. The children have performed brilliantly in their Christmas productions and our Year 6 children visited the festival of cribs at Horbury Methodist Church and hosted our first Fiver Challenge Christmas Fayre – which was a huge success.
Our School Choir led by Mrs Mower performed at St Mary’s Church Christmas Arts and Crafts Fair, The Cluntergate Centre Christmas Fair and at Elm Lodge. The children sang and read beautifully and were accompanied in their singing by members of school staff.
On Friday 13th December, the staff and children wore their Christmas jumpers to raise money for Save The Children. They all looked fantastic!
