MCAS

As you’ll be aware, our academy now uses MCAS (MyChildAtSchool) as our preferred platform for parental communication. This page is designed to help you with any queries you may have. For support with your MCAS account, please email mcas@horburyprimary.accordmat.org, stating your child’s name, your name and contact number, along with the details below.

Setting up your account for the first time:

The school will need your email address. Once your account is created you’ll receive an email containing a link to allow you set your password. Once complete, login to the app or website using your email address and password.

I’ve forgotten my username or password

Users can self-reset their password by following the Reset Password link beneath the login form on the MCAS Website, and entering their email address when prompted. Please remember to check Spam & Junk folders for emails if they don’t show up in your inbox.

Switching between your children: To switch between your children, open the menu in the app. The current child whose details you are viewing should be pictured at the top with their name listed alongside. Tap on their name. A pop-up window will then appear listing any other children linked to your account. Tap the child whose details you wish to view to switch to them.

I forgot my pin number

The MCAS App asks you to set a PIN to prevent any one who may gain access to your phone from launching the app. This PIN is set and stored only on your phone. Should you forget this PIN number, the only solution is to delete the app from your device, reinstall the app from the AppStore / PlayStore, and then re-add your account using your email address and your password.
